A local brokerage moved locations on Friday. Elevate Texas Real Estate held a grand opening for its new office at 1536 W. Stan Schlueter Loop in Killeen from 11 a.
m. to 2 p.m.
on Friday. The event included a ribbon-cutting hosted in collaboration with the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce. There were also drinks, food, a portrait artist, photo opportunities, a cake cutting and multiple raffle drawings for prizes.
Speaking about the grand opening, Myka Allen-Johnson, CEO of Elevate Texas Real Estate, said, “I feel like it’s awesome; it’s just been tons of support from everybody.” She estimated about 200 people stopped by during the grand opening celebration. When the calendar flips to December, it will mark two full years of Elevate Texas Real Estate serving Central Texas.
The company began in Salado before moving to Killeen in January of 2024. Discussing the relocation to the new office on Stan Schlueter Loop this November, Allen-Johnson said, “We out grew where we were at.” While the company is rather new in the real estate world, Allen-Johnson is not.
She has more than two decades worth of experience in the industry. In addition to her work as a broker, she also runs the Rockstar Academy of Real Estate. That academy, which started in 2017, is a real estate school located across the road from Elevate’s new office on Stan Schlueter Loop.
