Do we really have a choice? We all have beliefs that we have been taught through our families or learned as we interacted with others in church, school, and work. Beliefs that make up who we are as individuals. I firmly believe that everyone is basically good and situations dictate how we handle or react to each other.

I don’t understand how we are literally going backwards these days. Instead of improving health and mental care for women, a few individuals and groups have taken it upon themselves to push their beliefs on all women and have taken away our individual rights to make decisions for ourselves. Politics should never have come into this situation.

The reason Roe vs Wade came into effect is to protect women’s right to choose and access comprehensive health care, including abortions. To protect their health, without government restrictions and to show the Texas’ abortion ban was unconstitutional. This was a LAW for over 50 years.

I was taught that God gave each of us free will and that the decisions we make are ours and ours alone. Any woman that has to make a life or death decision, or decide about their health has to live with that choice forever. And I do mean forever! Most of the laws being changed have come from men.

Men have no idea what women go through anytime they become pregnant, and what changes their bodies go through, both mentally and physically, except for a few gynecologists. Everyone is different, especially our bodies. The majority of women wil.
