Thursday, August 22, 2024 In a significant move to position Taiwan as a top travel destination for Muslim tourists, the Taiwan Tourism Administration has launched a new promotional campaign titled “Jom Taiwan!” The campaign features Nabila Razali, a popular Malaysian singer and actress with a following of over 3.5 million on social media, as the 2024 Malaysian Muslim Tourism Ambassador for Taiwan. The announcement was made during a press conference held by the Taiwan Tourism Administration, where the new travel promotional video “Jom Taiwan!” was unveiled.

The video invites Muslim travelers to discover the diverse and rich experiences Taiwan offers. Over 40 media outlets from Malaysia attended the launch, drawn by Nabila Razali’s celebrity appeal. During the event, Nabila enjoyed Halal-certified Taiwanese fried chicken and boba milk tea, warmly inviting Malaysian tourists to “Jom Taiwan” alongside Mr.

Chou Ting-chang, Deputy Director-General of the Tourism Administration, to experience Taiwan’s Muslim-friendly amenities and breathtaking landscapes. During her filming trips to Taiwan, Nabila explored a variety of the island’s iconic attractions, including the dramatic landscapes of Bitou Cape on the Northeast Coast, the vibrant hydrangea fields of Yangmingshan, and the nostalgic ambiance of Jingtong Station on the Pingxi Line. She also indulged in Taiwanese Muslim delicacies, savored traditional Hakka lei cha (ground tea), and enjoyed biking along the picture.
