Earlier this month, we exclusively reported that the shoot of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani has been pushed. The third instalment of the franchise, which was supposed to kick off in January of next year, will now go on floors in May-June 2025. The reason behind it is Farhan, who is currently shooting for 120 Bahadur.
Keeping up with his commitment to the makers of the film, he wants to wrap it up before taking Don 3 to floors. And now News18 Showsha has yet another exciting update on the film. A source tells us, “The pre-production work on the film is currently underway.
And the prep on the same will begin next year in March as apart from Farhan, Ranveer is also busy with Aditya Dhar’s untitled next and recently embraced fatherhood.” Ranveer and Deepika Padukone’s baby girl was born on September 8. Kiara, on the other hand, is caught up with War 2 co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
March marks an eventful year for both Ranveer and Deepika, fondly known as DeepVeer by their fans. While Ranveer will start prepping for the role of Don, the new mommy will finish her maternity leave and begin work on Kalki 2 that same month. Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD was the last film she worked on before delivering her child.
