After Lakshya Sen lost the Badminton semi finals, and the Bronze medal match, at the Paris Olympics 2024, Prakash Padukone criticized him with some tough words. Now, Prakash Padukone’s son-in-law, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, has congratulated Sen for his brilliant performance. For those who don’t know, Prakash Padukone, unhappy about Sen’s loss in the bronze medal match, urged players to “introspect” and ask themselves if they are doing enough to win Olympic medals.

He had said, “Maybe, you know, the players are not working hard enough. Maybe, it is not enough to get a medal at the Olympics. So you (players) need to work also.

” Prakash Padukone, who is one of the founders of Olympic Gold Quest, then added, “You have a full sports science support team. Each of the players has their own physios, strength and conditioning trainers and nutritionists. How much more can you do? I don’t think any country, including the US and all, will have so many facilities.

” Prakash Padukone said he was “not happy” with Sen’s surrender to Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia in his bronze medal match after taking an early lead. Now, on his official Instagram stories, Ranveer Singh, the husband of Prakash Padukone’s daughter Deepika Padukone, wrote that Sen “missed out narrowly in a game of extremely small margins.” Sharing a photo of Sen, Ranveer Singh wrote, “What a player! What endurance, what agility, what a range of shots, what focus, what grit, what smarts, scintilla.
