Tamil film superstar Rajinikanth's health is currently stable, and he was admitted to a corporate hospital for a routine check-up, according to Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian. The 73-year-old actor, who has a massive fan following across the globe, was admitted late on Monday night for the tests. Although he was scheduled to visit the hospital the next morning on an empty stomach, Rajinikanth opted to get admitted the night before for convenience, the minister said.
The minister reassured the public that the actor’s condition is good and that he would be returning home shortly after the check-up. Subramanian added that he had been in touch with the hospital staff and had personally spoken with the doctors in charge to ensure that the actor was well cared for. Due to his celebrity status, the hospital made special arrangements for his admission at night to avoid any disruptions.
In response to Rajinikanth’s hospital visit, Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi expressed his support on social media, stating that he joined millions of fans in praying for the actor’s swift recovery. Chief Minister M K Stalin also conveyed his best wishes for the superstar’s speedy recovery. Fans of Rajinikanth, both in Tamil Nadu and globally, flooded social media with prayers and good wishes, expressing their concern for his well-being.
