Dancehall deejay Quick Cook, known for his witty street slangs, is blowing up the streets with his latest single, ' Active' . Visuals for the single has racked up more than 500,000 views on YouTube since its release a month ago. "The song is a fixture in every dance inna the Corporate Area.

The single was released on the 1umbrellafamily label, which is based in Canada. This song has risen to be arguably his biggest dancehall hit, and is a big favourite at local street dances like Uptown Mondays, Boasy Tuesdays and Leggo Di Street Wednesdays. Over the past two years, Quick Cook has made a foray into music production with his home-based record label, Bread Organisation, and has been voicing some of the more established voices in dancehall music.

So far, the label has produced and released songs from the likes of Ding Dong, Bugle, Serani, I Octane, and Frisko Kid on the 'Money Ah Di Target' rhythm project. He has also produced a number of reggae singles for artistes like Money Don Red. Quick Cook stated that the label was born out of a desire to chart his own musical destiny.

In 2012, Quick Cook gained international attention when a flopped dance routine at an event was featured on MTV's comedy show Ridiculousness .
