Sufi Malik , the Pakistani-American influencer who rose to prominence for her much-publicised cross-cultural romance and breakup with fellow influencer Anjali Chakra , has now responded to a troll who tried to corner her and questioned her regarding the infidelity that caused the couple to part ways earlier this year. Recently, Malik hosted a candid ask-me-anything session, where she invited questions from followers. One of them quizzed her about her infidelity.
"Did you consider not cheating if you didn't want the hate?" the Instagram user asked Malik. “Sending you energy where one day your personal relationship is public and you make a bad decision/mistake and it's blasted over the internet for you to receive the same hate I did and have been,” Malik retorted, tagging the user. Malik confessed to being unfaithful to Chakra just before their wedding, recognizing the hurt she inflicted and promising to accept accountability for her actions.
“I made an unrecognisable mistake of betrayal by cheating on her a few weeks before our wedding. I've hurt her tremendously, beyond my understanding. I am owning up to my mistake and will continue to do so,” she wrote on her Instagram handle.
