The 49-year-old food writer is the eldest child of the Queen from her first marriage to retired Army officer Andrew Parker-Bowles. Tom was introduced to Royal life when his mother married Prince Charles in 2005.
Despite his mother becoming Queen and his step-siblings, Prince William and Prince Harry, being born into the Royal Family, Tom and his sister Laura were not granted titles. Interviewing Tom on the News Agents podcast in 2023, journalist Emily Maitlis asked: "You call King Charles your stepdad and pause before saying the Queen, what do you become?" To which Tom replied: "I become nothing. There would be a revolution if they started handing them out to people like me.
