Queen Elizabeth II questioned Melania Trump's marriage to Donald and suggested the couple must have "some sort of arrangement," according to a new book. The same new biography also claims the British monarch found the 46th president to be "very rude." The claims are detailed in Craig Brown's A Voyage Around The Queen .

Brown wrote that Elizabeth "particularly disliked" the way Trump looked over her shoulder while she was speaking to him. Furious Harry was left 'in tears' after father Charles delivered fateful blow William 'bans' brother Harry from his coronation - not spoken in two years "A few weeks after President Trump's visit, for instance, she confided in one lunch guest that she found him 'very rude': she particularly disliked the way he couldn't stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting," Brown wrote. "She also believed President Trump 'must have some sort of arrangement' with his wife Melania, or else why would she have remained married to him?" The former US president and Queen Elizabeth met in July 2018 at Windsor Castle during a visit that drew large anti-Trump protests in London.

This was followed by an official state visit by Trump to Buckingham Palace the following year. The president was criticized by some in the British press for breaking protocol by briefly walking in front of the monarch instead of alongside her, and turning his back on her as they reviewed an honor guard.
