The year end is proving to be rather memorable with so many back to back celebrity weddings and one of the most talked-about celebrations was the marriage of Indian badminton champion PV Sindhu and her long-term boyfriend, Venkata Datta Sai , on December 22. The couple’s wedding, held in Udaipur, was an intimate affair, filled with love and tradition. While the bride’s ensemble for the wedding ceremony itself, a champagne-gold saree by Manish Malhotra was stunning, it was her Varmala look that truly stole the show.
For the Varmala ceremony, PV Sindhu opted for a striking crimson red lehenga by the renowned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The lehenga was a masterpiece, crafted with intricate details and luxurious fabric. The ensemble featured a full-sleeved blouse, which was adorned with a golden embroidered border, adding an element of regal elegance.
The heavily embellished lehenga skirt featured golden geometrical patterns that were finely woven with thread and zari work, creating a mesmerizing effect. The sheer red dupatta, embroidered with golden polka dots, was neatly tucked into her waist, completing the ethereal bridal look. PV Sindhu’s jewellery selection was equally breathtaking.
