Ludhiana: The rural police have booked unidentified thieves who broke the glasses of two vehicles outside a dhaba on GT road at Jagraon to steal purses containing jewellery and cash. Sukhwinder Kamboj of Guruharsahai said in his complaint to police that he along with his family had been travelling from Mohali to his village by car on August 16 around 7pm and had stopped at a dhaba in Jagraon to have tea. They had parked their car outside anbd when they returned, they found the glass of the car on left side broken and his wife’s purse gone.

In the second incident related to this, ASI Kuldeep Singh said that at the same dhaba, there was theft from another car by breaking the glass. He added that Rachpal Singh of Bhagat Singh Colony in Firozpur was the complainant.
