Sony's newest PS5 Pro launch is here as the retailer lifts the lid on its newest gaming console. Today, Thursday, September 26 eager shoppers will be able to pre-order the latest device. Today the latest PS5 Pro edition will be available to order from Play Station Direct , before a whirlwind of pre-order deals on third-party UK retailers to follow this coming October 10.

And as with any new gaming release, fans a going wild for it. The disc-free console has certainly not been without controversy as one of the most talked-about new upgrades is its switch to a no-disc drive. All of the games will now have to be installed (after purchase) from the PlayStation Store unless you're willing to buy the drive separately.
