Protesters took over a city centre shopping centre with a flash mob held against the conflict in the Middle East. Demonstrators covered themselves in white sheets and lay on the floor of Brighton's Churchill Square in a pro-Palestinian show of support. Flags and banners were draped from the railings in the shopping centre's central circle as protesters shouted calling for a ceasefire.
The demonstration comes as the latest in a string of pro-Palestinian protests in the city in recent months. Protesters also held Lebanese flags in a show of support for the Middle Eastern country after it was also attacked by Israel last month. Protesters had previously targeted Churchill Square in January.
