Every year, Hospital Radio Basingstoke, a registered charity completely run by volunteers in several different roles, including show presenters and ward visitors, holds a quiz night in September in order to raise money and drive up interest to find more volunteers interested in getting involved in the charity. This year's quiz takes place tonight, Saturday, September 21, in the Irish Centre on Council Road, beginning at 6.30pm.
The event, which organisers say "promises to be a good night," features a raffle and a licensed bar. Teams of six are encouraged to join, with entry costing £6 per person. "There are teams of up to six, and we would love to see as many people as possible attending. "There’s a raffle with fantastic prizes, and a great quiz lined up to test your knowledge, maybe you’d be interested in getting involved with the station - Anyone who is interested - we look forward to seeing you there."
