Priyanka Chopra Jonas ’ Marathi film Paani is gearing up for its big-screen release on October 18. The actress arrived in Mumbai early Friday morning to attend the trailer launch of her upcoming film. She was spotted at the airport, looking chic in an all-white outfit.
Priyanka wore a white crop top with matching track pants, a long shrug, a denim cap, and white shoes. She was all smiles as she posed for the paparazzi. Just a few days ago, Priyanka shared the motion poster of Paani on Instagram, expressing her excitement about the project.
Directed by Adinath Kothare , Paani tells the story of an ordinary man from Nagderwadi, a drought-stricken village in Nanded. The film follows his journey as he strives to make the village self-sufficient in water despite various challenges. Produced by Priyanka and Madhu Chopra under their banner Purple Pebble Pictures along with Rajshri Entertainment, Paani stars Subodh Bhave , Kishore Kadam, Addinath Kothare, and Rucha Vaidya.
The film was originally released in 2019 and received the National Film Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation.
