There aren't many little boys who would turn down a sweet treat, but Prince Louis did just that during a visit to the Strictly studios - and it was for an adorable reason. Louis, his big sister Princess Charlotte , and mum Princess Kate headed to Elstree Studios in December 2023 for a behind the scenes look at the hit BBC TV show. During their visit, they got the chance to meet head judge Shirley Ballas - and she later shared a cute story about the youngest Wales children.

"They are beautiful. When they visited we had these crowns on set, so I thought it would be a nice idea to give the little girl a crown and I got him a nice box of sweets," Shirley told the Sun . "Then he went, 'I want one of those' and pointed at the crown.

"So, we had to go and find him a little crown. They're beautifully polite children . They had an absolute ball.

" She continued: "We have photos, but I didn't want to post them. I think it's more private for her. I was just glad she was able to come in and have a great day.

They all watch Strictly." Louis is known to have a close bond with his sister - and it's not the only time he has wanted to follow in her footsteps. Prince William previously revealed that Louis is Charlotte's little shadow at home, as he lifted the lid on their morning routine.

"One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka. There's a lot of hip movements going along. There's a lot of dressing up," he said.
