Prince Harry 's solo jaunt to New York has revealed his personal brand to be somewhat "little thin" without wife Meghan Markle helping him form a "mega" double act, an expert claims. The Duke of Sussex has been in the Big Apple this week without Meghan, making a series of appearances at events linked with UN General Assembly High-Level Week. He was a star guest at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York on Tuesday, where he gave a heartfelt speech about the digital world and spoke touchingly about his mother Princess Diana during a panel discussion about the Diana Award.

His trip concluded with a stint on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where he was filmed screaming and swearing as he navigated a haunted maze with the TV host. Royal historian and expert Dr Tessa Dunlop suggests that much of the fallout from Harry's trip has centred on Meghan's absence - and she believes this is largely due to some of the couple's previous actions. Speaking to the Mirror , she said: "It has been a whirlwind week for Prince Harry in New York, championing all the causes he cares about most: young people, Diana's legacy, the climate and the corrosive effects of social media.

'We've split the atom. We've walked on the moon. We are more than equipped to tackle this' intoned the Duke as he strode like a colossus across the stage at the Clinton Global Initiative.

"Statesman Harry was all sharp suits, polished performances, and packed halls until he hit Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show with expletives.
