Primark, Belfast. (Image: Justin Kernoghan/Belfast Live) Primark could be set to open a dedicated Primark Home store in Belfast city centre, planning documents reveal. A proposal submitted to Belfast City Council shows that the fashion retail is hoping to open a new store at Fountain House on Donegall Place, with an application to add shop signs to the historic building.
After the August 2018 Bank Buildings fire , Fountain House was the temporary site for Primark Belfast which opened in April 2019. The site has remained vacant since, being put on the market for rent by Savills.
