In ‘Dekho Na,’ love, trust, and perception collide, unravelling a dark mystery beneath the surface Raman. Photo: Courtesy of the artist Sharma’s journey in the Indian music scene has been nothing short of meteoric. At 19 years old, his perfect amalgamation of charm, talent, and a rare maturity for someone his age has made him one to watch.
His signature blue eyes and great screen presence first drew fans through viral social media reels, but it was his ability to create emotionally expressive songs that truly set him apart. Raman blew up the scene with “Too Dazed,” embracing an untutored voice that haunts the chaos of the pandemic era, which, effectively, gave him the time to grow into the force that he is today. And yet if there is one thing one can say about Raman, it’s that he never settles.
Constantly looking to evolve, he’s always on the lookout for that next thing. With “Dekho Na,” he’s really bolder in terms of his creative territory. The track was co-produced with Aman Sagar and supported by A&R talents Raghav Meattle and Chintan Chauhan.
“Dekho Na” is a clear diversification in Raman’s sound gives us dark and cinematic Hindi pop/R&B. This is a transitional song, it’s one step toward something bigger and reflects Raman’s growth. Built on themes like perception, trust, and longing the song is written by Raman and Samad Khan, and “Dekho Na” is a heartfelt plea from a person caught between reality and the emotional distance in a relation.
