“With four days of programming, eight locations and a diversity of content designed to mobilise the creative community”, ModaLisboa , which takes place under the theme “Singular”, “is the reflection of an increasingly deep intersection between Fashion, the city and all its cultural spheres”, reads a statement from the organisation about the 63rd edition, which runs until Sunday. Like previous editions, the 63rd edition also opens with “Fast Talks”, “to discuss the Fashion system and its intersections with contemporary social and technological challenges”. Moderated by presenter Rui Maria Pego, the two debates in this edition, which will take place at the renovated MUDE, “focus on the transversality of technology for the practice of Fashion — a consequence of the same transversality applied to contemporary thinking in society — and the crucial role of Creative Industries in social regeneration, in the redefinition of identity and in the strategic vision of a city”.

On the same day, the Beat by be@t programme exhibition will also be inaugurated at MUDE , where visitors will be able to “visit four circular and innovative textile projects developed by teams made up of Fashion Designers and small and medium-sized companies”. Also today, the exhibition "Workstation New Media" will open to the public at the National Society of Fine Arts, which "explores the intersections between Digital Art, New Media and Fashion", curated by the ZABRA post-human arti.
