Australians planning their next holiday can now peruse a new range of deals on tours, cruises and escapes with Aldi Australia launching a new foray into the world of travel. The popular German supermarket on Wednesday launched a new online portal where travellers can book their next trip away, with prices starting from just $499 per person. Packages on offer include seven nights at a beach resort in Fiji, a 15-day European tour, an island escape in Vanuatu and a trip to Japan which includes an ocean cruise.
Some packages include flights, while others come with theme park tickets and other perks like guaranteed room upgrades. Aldi Holidays is offering customisable options, which vary depending on the package, so travellers can adjust their lengths of stay and fly with preferred airlines from airports which suit them best. The exclusive deals will be available until sold out, similar to the supermarket's bi-weekly Special Buys program.
Aldi Australia Group Director Rodney Balech said the new service is in partnership with Ignite Travel and is designed to unlock value for all travellers. “ We are excited to be taking off in a new direction to make planning and booking a holiday a more enjoyable experience for Australians and in our signature, Good Different way with Aldi Holidays,” he said in a statement. “This service, in partnership with Ignite Travel, will unlock incredible value and help all types of travellers create truly unforgettable experiences.
“With Aldi Holid.
