A beloved café in south Manchester known for serving up its 'mega' breakfasts is closing after six years. Momma B’s, on Portway in Wythenshawe , has gained a reputation over the years for not only its sandwiches, but for its big breakfasts, which come loaded with sausages, eggs, bacon, black pudding, hash browns, beans and toast for less than £10. But the owners behind the sandwich shop say they will be closing at the end of the month following a series of health issues.

The owners said they were ‘gutted’ about the decision but added there are plans for the venue under new ownership.
