Bella's Bakes is making a return to the Bolton Food and Drink Festival to serve up some sweet treats. The reputation of the bakers is rising fast, with their stall set to be a huge attraction at this year's event - which will open at 2pm today (Friday) . Isabella Riding, 21, set up Bella’s Bakes in 2017 at just 14-years-old, and she joined forces with her mum Natalie in 2021.

The duo, whose mouth-watering baked goods have racked up over three thousand social media followers, will have their own pop-up stall. (Image: NQ) Natalie said: “We’re feeling excited but nervous, last year we took over four hundred cakes to the festival and we’d sold out of everything by 2pm. “We’ll be selling lots of goodies at the pop-up, including brownies, blondies, cookies, cookie pies and our best seller, the lemon drizzle cake.

“There’s even a limited-edition flavoured raspberry and amaretto blondie. “We also will be selling brownie and blondie bites, which buyers can customize with an array of biscuit toppings and sauces. “We’ll also have a kid’s counter at the stall which we want to make pocket-money friendly, so the bakes are just one pound.

We want to make sure people of all ages get to enjoy our bakes! “It’s also Bella’s birthday on the Friday so we will be playing games like pass the parcel and getting people involved.” Bella’s Bakes will also be raising money for a local charity, Be More Ted, at the festival by selling tickets for a lucky dip.
