Pop star Self Esteem shocked fans online with the aftermath of a recent Lime bike accident, which looked horrendously painful. The I Do This All The Time hitmaker, real name Rebecca Lucy Taylor, posted a series of snaps and video clips on her Instagram page with the caption ‘Sambas and a little red bag.’ The first picture showed the music icon taking a selfie in her home wearing a long black trench coat over khaki shorts and a blue and white striped shirt.

But the billowing coat didn’t cover her leg, which was covered in bruises and cuts. A later image showed the full extent of her injuries, showing the details of the grazes and bumps in their wince-inducing glory across the majority of her leg, no doubt making it difficult to walk. It wasn’t all doom and gloom, however, with other pics showing the singer having fun with friends as well as performing onstage.

Fans were quick to express their concern in the comment section, including fellow music star Becky Hill who wrote: ‘Queen, wtf happened to ur leg!’ The 37-year-old singer responded: ‘Lime bike baby. It was statistically time,’ referring to the dockless e-bikes available to hire across the UK. It’s unclear how exactly a Lime bike contributed to her injuries, with her followers taking to the comments to wish her well in her recovery.

It comes after the Rotherham musician released a football shirt based on England’s 1990 kit in a bid to raise awareness of an increase in domestic violence when the team lo.
