RCMP are asking for help from the public in locating a teen reported missing from a western Manitoba community about two weeks ago. Joseph Ryan McIvor, 16, was reported missing from his Ebb and Flow First Nation on July 9, though friends at the time said they had seen him, according to an RCMP news release on Thursday. Several patrols have been done with numerous homes checked after people reported seeing him, but police still haven't found him.

RCMP believe he is still in Ebb and Flow First Nation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP at 204-447-3082.

Tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers by phone (1-800-222-8477) or online. More from CBC Manitoba: It was abandoned 20 years ago.
