Greater Manchester Police have arrested a man in connection with numerous counts of theft in Farnworth. Following an appeal earlier in the month, police were able to arrest the wanted man who was also charged with failure to appear at court and recall to prison. The police conducted a strike at an address on Balmoral Road and after a brief struggle with officers, he was detained.
He remains in custody for questioning. A GMP spokesperson said: “Following our appeal earlier this month, intelligence provided by the public has lead to the arrest of a wanted male, who will now be spending Christmas Day in our luxury custody suite. “This morning, a strike was conducted at an address on Balmoral Road, Farnworth, and after a brief struggle with officers, he was detained.
“The male, aged 29, was arrested on suspicion of numerous counts of theft, failure to appear at court and recall to prison. “He remains in custody for questioning.”.
