While he will be the first Indian prime minister to visit Poland after 45 years, he will also be the first prime minister to visit Ukraine, after the beginning of diplomatic ties between two countries in 1992. Soon after, he will interact with business leaders and prominent ecologists of the country. According to Tanmaya Lal, Secretary, of the Ministry of External Affairs, around 25,000 estimated Indians are living in Poland, of whom 5,000 are students.
