Welcome to How I Do It , the series in which we give you a seven-day sneak peek into the sex life of a stranger. This week we hear from Alice Lovegood, a 29-year-old sex worker and content creator who’s married to her husband Matt. They share three kids, having been together for 10 years, but it was a year ago that Alice and her husband entered into a polyamorous dynamic .
‘Matt was reluctant to the idea of polyamory to begin with, but he was willing to try it to support my journey,’ Alice says. As a result, Alice, who’s bisexual , has been in a relationship with Reed Amber, a fellow sex worker, for nearly a year. ‘Since opening my marriage I’ve really embraced my bisexuality and recently have been learning that I am much more attracted to women than men,’ Alice explains.
‘I feel that I am demisexual with men, in that I become attracted to them once I have established an emotional connection. ‘When I’m approached by men I’m often defensive and guarded, whereas with women I’m open and eager.’ It doesn’t mean that Alice doesn’t get jealous from time to time though, when she knows her husband is seeing other women, but she’s learned to love herself and feel comfortable with the dynamic.
She has sex about three or four times a week, sometimes for content and sometimes for personal connection. ‘I genuinely don’t have anything I would change about my sex life,’ Alice says. So, without further ado, here’s how Alice got on this week.
