Katie, who appeared as a guest on Piers' Life Stories series, appeared in court on Friday after being arrested at Heathrow Airport the previous day.

It came after a warrant was issued for the 46-year-old star's arrest after she failed to attend a hearing over her bankruptcies. Katie was declared bankrupt in 2019 as well as in March due to an outstanding tax bill of £750,000 Addressing Katie in his column for The Sun , Piers wrote: “Her ongoing spiral into shameful self-destruction is pathetic to watch and having seen so many people from all rungs of the celebrity ladder go down a similar path, I fear it will inevitably end very badly.

” Piers then referred to her eldest son's dad Dwight Yorke, telling the star “Get a grip, Pricey, before it�.
