Crowds turned out at the Square in Freshford for a fundraising charity walk organised by Kilkenny Lions Club. The scenic walk, a little over 5km, raised funds for two local causes: Prague House Freshford which is a care home for elderly people from the area and The Loop Café, Freshford - a very popular community run café in Freshford. Participants enjoyed a beautiful route that followed the right bank of the stream through a picturesque broadleaf woodland.
The path lead to the entrance roadway to Upper Court Manor, continuing to Brown’s Wood and runs along the serene banks of the Nuenna River..
