FARGO — It was a magical night under a waning full moon in downtown Fargo as Folkways took over Broadway Square for a night bazaar themed around magic. The organization that brings "whimsical intentionality" to Fargo hosted the bazaar, run by a myriad of volunteers and staff who performed two shows featuring fire dancing amid a shower of bubbles. More than 40 vendors, including food trucks, tarot readers, balloon animal makers, and more came together to entertain crowds that packed the downtown core on a warm September eve.

Folkways hosts a variety of events and programs with a goal to make Fargo a more vibrant and inclusive place. Organizers host three night bazaars this year, with the final one taking place Oct. 31 at Brewhalla.

The group also hosts the Red River Valley Market, which is held each Saturday in the summer months from 10 a.m. – 2 p.

m. in Broadway Square, continuing through Oct. 26.
