Phillip Schofield has said that he was “fired for someone else’s crime” after he was let go from This Morning , insinuating that he was sacked for crimes committed by his brother. Schofield’s, 54-year-old brother, Timothy was convicted in April 2023 for 11 sexual offences involving a child, which were committed between October 2016 and October 2019. Speaking in the final episode of Channel 5’s Phillip Schofield : Cast Away , the 62-year-old TV presenter said that he refused “to name and refuse to acknowledge” his sibling and that he had “absolutely no qualms whatsoever in shopping” to police, who he said had “praised” him for getting “justice done”.
