Thursday, September 19, 2024 The Georgian welcomes hospitality industry veteran Phillip Pavel as its new Managing Director, following the restoration and reopening of the iconic 84-key hotel in April 2023 by BLVD Hospitality. With over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Phillip brings a wealth of expertise to the Ocean Avenue landmark. His illustrious career includes more than two decades as Managing Director at Chateau Marmont, where he earned recognition as “one of the most famous gatekeepers in Hollywood,” solidifying the hotel’s legendary status.

He has also held Managing Director roles at InHouse and private luxury estates across California, Colorado, and Mexico. In addition to his extensive hospitality background, Phillip is deeply connected to the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, with over 40 acting credits in film and television. He has also contributed as a board member for the non-profit arts organization Center Th.
