Phil Foden has moved in a CHEF as the Manchester City star attempts to revive his stuttering form. The England playmaker was named as the PFA Player of the Year last term after a stunning season. The 24-year-old scored 27 goals and notched 12 assists in all competitions as City claimed yet another Premier League title under Pep Guardiola .
But Foden has struggled this time around. He has just a solitary assist in the league this season, with his only goals coming in the Champions League against Slovan Bratislava and Sparta Prague. And Foden has now attempted to get back on track by changing his eating habits.
According to The Sun , the City star has moved a private chef onto the grounds of his new home in the Cheshire Estate. They are apparently set to live in the gatekeeper’s cottage on the grounds and will be available for all of the forward’s nutritional needs. A source quoted by The Sun said: “Phil wants to be on top of his nutrition and the chef has a lovely space to prepare all his meals.
It’s the ultimate luxury and because he’s away a lot with the team, having his own chef means he can just focus on his football and young family.” Foden’s mum has also opened up on the City star’s fresh approach after tweaking his diet. Speaking to Talk Eat Laugh , Foden’s mum Claire said: “The shocking thing is I hear him ordering salmon a lot now and he never used to eat that! He used to have low iron levels, but that’s all up to scratch now.
