Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA. Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice. A few animals from the branch are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the Sussex North & Brighton branch carry on their work you can donate to them at the website here . Mickey Mickey (Image: RSPCA) Gender - Male Age - Six years old Breed - Yorkshire Terrier Colour - Silver and Tan If you want to adopt Mickey you can view their full profile here . Mickey is described as a "sensitive soul" who is looking for quite a specific home to go to.

He will need a female owner who is prepared to let him take things at his own pace and allow him time to settle. Mickey can be worried by strangers, especially men, and is also anxious around children. He is also sound sensitive and can be worried by loud noises so a quiet home environment is a must.

Despite his worries, Mickey is housetrained, enjoys his walks and loves to play in a garden. The RSPCA adds: "Once Mickey knows you he is [a] happy, bouncy boy who loves fuss and attention and will sit on your lap or curl up next to you on the sofa."
