Peter Andre has said it "feels like we’re living in an alternative reality" as he breaks his silence on the violent riots sweeping the UK. Violence has erupted across towns in the UK since the devastating July 29 incident at a Taylor Swift -themed dance class in Southport left an entire community in shock; three young girls tragically lost their lives, and others were wounded. Axel Muganwa Rudakubana, a 17 year old from Banks, Lancashire, is accused of being the man behind the horrific attacks and has been charged with three counts of murder and ten of attempted murder.

The aftermath of the attack in Southport sparked riots across the country as misinformation circulated on social media. Over recent days, a number of people have charged in relation to the surge of far-right provoked riots last week and many already jailed. As the nation grapples with escalating racial tension, Peter Andre pours out his heart in his latest column, voicing his alarm over recent events by commenting, "it's been horrific".

The dad-of-five admits seeing the violence has left him in disbelief and describes the unrest as "very scary times". "It's been horrific to see the riots that have been unfolding across the UK – it’s terrifying that this is happening on our doorsteps," Peter writes in OK! magazine. "Understandably, many people now don’t feel safe to go to public places.

It feels like we’re living in an alternative reality, I can’t believe it is 2024 and things like this are still ha.
