British Transport Police officers were called to the line near Broxbourne railway station at around 6am. A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the line near Broxbourne railway station at around 6am this morning (9 October) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced .
