Perrie Edwards has candidly revealed the extent of her anxiety after being taken to hospital during her time in Little Mix . The singer emotionally recalled a time where she was asked if she'd taken drugs while suffering a panic attack. She has been open about her anxiety and panic attacks over the years, admitting it has sometimes been so intense she thought she was having a heart attack.

Perrie has since reflected on her time in Little Mix and shared how her mental health became worse when touring with the band. "My anxiety started when we as a band were in Las Vegas a few years ago when something happened. I'd been having panic attacks for a while," she said.

I told them 'something's happening to my heart I'm going to die' - and I was having a panic attack. Since that trip they just kept coming and it got so bad I had to ask my mum if she was going to put me in a mental institute." She added to Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast: "Having therapy has helped me massively.

Perrie shares her three-year-old boy with footballer fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. "I never want my little boy see that I am anxious. I'm scared people will see me out and.
