The school holidays often give families a chance to get out and about a bit more visiting parks and play areas across Greater Manchester. If you're looking for somewhere to keep kids of all ages entertained then there's one that ticks most boxes. Wythenshawe Park attracts families from miles around and has a wealth of activities to get involved with.

As well as its play area for mixed ages - with a new one featuring swings, a giant spinning disc and an accessible trampoline hopefully coming later this year - it's got its own community farm, which is home to cows, sheep, goats, pigs, ducks, horses and a prize-winning herd of Hereford cattle.
