Would-be beachgoers have been told not to travel to a beauty spot as parking has sold out. People without a pre-booked ticket to park at West Wittering Beach are being urged not to travel to the beach by the West Wittering Estate. In a statement on its Facebook page, the estate said: "We are sold out for tomorrow, Sunday, August 11.
"Please do not travel to the area without a pre-booked ticket. You will be refused entry. There is no alternative parking in the local area.

Anticipating more visitors, the estate recently changed its parking policy. Effective from August 1, visitors have to book their parking space at least one day before their visit.
