A WOMAN has left people enraged after revealing the "controversial" decisions she has made for her wedding day. Madeleine White revealed that she had no idea that her choices would irritate so many people, and said "Maybe I am turning into a bridezilla after all." Taking to TiKTok, Madeleine shared that her first "divisive" decision was to have a destination wedding.
She said that people have accused her of being "selfish" for this, as many people who can't afford a trip away will be excluded from the wedding. However, she said that "that is exactly the point." "We want to avoid the fair-weather guests that will just pop around for an hour to watch the ceremony and get a free plate of food.
"If people are spending the money to come all the way to Europe to attend our wedding, they must really care about us." Another of Madeleine and her fiance's rules is that there will be no speeches at the wedding. "We're just giving my dad a speech and Andrew's dad the welcome toast", she said.

She said that people have criticised this rule as being "tacky" and "selfish" but said that she thinks that it is helpful to have a theme.
