On a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, 11 past captains of Enmore Park Golf Club played in the Broomfield Cup competition. At the end of the competition, three players returned with 19 points: Gwen Cavill, Phil Hodge, and Mike Rossiter, the winner on countback. A meal followed the competition, and Mervyn Slocombe and Charles Hole joined the players for the special social occasion.

Janet Hambly, with 41 points, won the Ladies 18 Hole Individual Stableford on Wednesday, four points clear of second-placed Suzanne Bromme, who had 37. Eileen Binding was third with 36. The 9-Hole Individual stableford was won by Claire Down, but only after a countback put her ahead of Hazel Percy after both scored 20 points.

Carolyn Blackwood was third with 13 points. Ed Boyce, with 41 points, won Saturday's Pro Shop Stableford, one ahead of John Doughty, who had 40, while Thomas Millar, with 39, was third. Oliver Blackmore won Sunday's Stableford with 39 points, two ahead of second-placed Darren Hill with 37, while Andrew Chave was this with 36.

Todd Eccles, with 27 points, was the clear winner of Tuesday's Summer League (week 17 ), five points ahead of Rob Brown, who claimed second place on countback from Tony Deeble after both scored 22. The Chairman and Club Captain Trophy was established in 2023 by Gwen Cavill, Martyn Clapp, and Enmore, who were hosting the competition and hoped to regain the trophy from Worlebury. However, that did not happen, and, ultimately, Worlebury triumphed by a respect.
