The 14 episode series premieres next month Disney+ has announced the upcoming premiere of its latest K-drama, The Judge From Hell starring Park Shin-hye ( Doctor Slump ) and Kim Jae-yeong ( Love in Contract ). On August 21, the streaming giant shared that it will premiere the new romantic crime K-drama this September. The Judge From Hell stars Park Shin-hye as Bit-na, a controversial judge known for meting out light sentences to criminals despite facing massive disapproval from the public.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Bit-na is possessed by a demon whose mission is to find and drag ten criminals back to hell. However, her mission is made complicated after meeting detective Da-on (played by Kim), who she begins to develop romantic feelings for. The Judge From Hell is written by Jo I-su, who worked on the 2018 miniseries The Hymn of Death , and directed by Park Jin-pyo ( Brave Citizen, Love Forecast ).
