Serena Williams has criticised a Michelin -starred restaurant in Paris after alleging that she and her children were denied entry. The tennis legend shared her experience on X (formerly Twitter), stating that she and her family were not allowed into the rooftop restaurant L’Oiseau Blanc at The Peninsula hotel. The sports star remarked that it was the first time she had been turned away while accompanied by her family.
She wrote: “Yikes @peninsulaparis I’ve been denied access to a rooftop to eat in an empty restaurant of nicer places [sic] but never with my kids. Always a first.” Fans swiftly came to Williams' defence online, with one X user questioning: “How does one get denied when they are Serena Wiliams.

“Unfortunately, our rooftop bar was indeed fully booked and the only unoccupied tables you saw belonged to our gourmet restaurant, L’Oiseau Blanc, which was fully reserved.
