MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Tourism (DoT) said on Monday Palawan and Boracay made it to the "8 Most Visited Island Destinations in Asia." The August 7 issue of TimesTravel, a renowned Indian publication, ranked Palawan, known as the "last frontier" of the Philippines because of its beautiful natural surroundings, third while Boracay, noted for its pristine white powdery beaches and crystal-clear waters placed fourth.
