Featuring lavish interiors, vintage furniture, and majestic decor, this train combines the timeless allure of traditional India with contemporary luxury, offering a smooth journey through some of the country’s most picturesque landscapes, including deserts, palaces and lakes.

Enhanced Luxury And Facilities Palace on Wheels aims to elevate its already lavish offerings. Alongside existing amenities, new features and upgrades are being introduced. The train, comparable to a moving seven-star hotel, accommodates up to 30 foreign tourists, offering them a glimpse into Rajasthan’s diverse heritage.

Bhagat Singh Lohagarh, director of the operating company, has spearheaded the transformation. The Maharaja Restaurant now complements the Maharani Restaurant, radiating a golden theme. A former gym has been converted into a luxurious Presidential Suite, available for a princely sum for a seven-day journey.

Prioritising Safety Safety is paramount, with the entire train kitchen electrified, ensuring fire safety. Now food is prepared on an electric stove instead of the gas stove. Smoke detectors have been installed in every compartmen.
