FRIENDSVILLE — Mrs. American Royal Beauties 2024 Judith Kinnie and Miss Maryland Teen 2024 Zoe Zuzack will be participating in the Friendsville Day’s Festival this weekend. Kinnie will be riding in the noontime parade on Saturday, Aug.

17, as well as at the opening ceremonies at the stage in the Friendsville Community Park. Zuzack will be crowning the princess and prince at Friendsville Day’s Festival events, which kick off Friday evening, and assisting the mayor in naming the Co- Mayor’s for the Friendsville Day’s Festival. She also will be riding in the noontime parade on Saturday and participating in the opening ceremonies at the Friendsville Community Park.

Judith Kinnie Kinnie was crowned National Mrs. American Royal Beauties 2024 on Aug. 3.

She was the reigning Mrs. Maryland when she competed at the national competition in Cincinnati, alongside other accomplished women from across the country. She lives near Cumberland, works for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and is working on her doctorate in educational leadership.

She is heavily involved with various community service organizations, including the Regional Advocacy Council with the American Diabetes Association, the Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition and the Maryland Food Bank Speakers Bureau. In addition to speaking on Capitol Hill and to the state Legislature, she has also written and donated two diabetes books to patients nationwide. Kinnie is passionate about raising awareness for various organizations.
