The Green Bay Packers have weathered injuries to Jordan Love to find themselves at 6-2, competing with the Detroit Lions for the NFC North title. Their defense has played a huge role for them and they could look to make some trades to get even better on that side of the ball. While discussing the Packers' outlook before the trade deadline, Andy Herman, during a Bleacher Report live stream , outlined a trade scenario that brings Jalen Ramsey from the Miami Dolphins to Green Bay.

"I will say, Jalen Ramsey in Miami would be a very interesting player," said Herman. "The contract's probably not good enough for Green Bay to go after a player like that, but he's doing pretty well. Jalen Ramsey would be an interesting one.

" Ramsey is a three-time All-Pro, seven-time Pro Bowler and signed a three-year, $72 million deal with the Dolphins before the season. He would provide Green Bay with versatility and instantly change the perception of their secondary. Ramsey, Xavier McKinney and Jaire Alexnder would anchor arguably the best secondary in the National Football League.

"The beauty of Ramsey would be that you could put him outside if you wanted, opposite of Jaire ...

or you could put Ramsey in the slot with Nixon and Jaire outside," said Herman. "You could mix and match Ramsey and Nixon a bit. That'd be a fun one.

And Miami's not going anywhere this year, right? I doubt that would happen, that's a dream scenario." Ramsey has made seven consecutive Pro Bowls and would bring an elite cove.
