Ozzy Osbourne is not one for mincing his words. The Prince of Darkness singled out A-list actor Johnny Depp and the Bros Twins as he ranted about his bewilderment over artists who attempt to switch between acting and music in Hollywood. The rock legend praised Depp as a talent who can excel both on the silver screen and with his guitar, particularly when performing with his band, The Hollywood Vampires .
However, Ozzy questioned why so many artists are keen to swap their music careers for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. He confessed: "There was a time when rock stars wanted to be movie stars and movie stars wanted to be rock stars. Make your f---ng mind up what you want to do! Why do you want to be a rock star when you want to be in movies? " He added: "There ain't many that can do it all and pull it off.
Johnny Depp is pretty good at doing both." Ozzy also shared his admiration for Bros drummer Luke Goss, who has appeared in films such as Blade II, Hellboy II: The Golden Army and Tekken. He said: "What about them twins in that band? I saw one of them in a bank robbery film.
It was a fantastic film." He was referring to Death Race 2. Ozzy suggested that musicians should be given "two movies" to demonstrate their acting abilities or they should quit, reports the Daily Star .
He concluded: "Have a stab and if you're sh** acknowledge it and stop." Ozzy made the comments on his Sirius XM show, Ozzy Speaks. It comes just weeks after he hit out at Britney Spears for her Instagr.
